Too bad the Queen wasn't at her house when I was. We could've made popcorn and watched movies.

Windsor Castle was on the agenda for today! So we got on our usual confusion of trains to go there. The castle is huge! It is over 900 years old and it is the largest inhabited castle today. It is the home of the Queen of England. She says that Buckingham Palace is her office and Windsor is her home. To bad she wasn't there when we were there! That would have been cool. So because people still live there we could only tour the state rooms. So the main public rooms of the castle like the dining room and reception rooms. The rooms were fantastic. Very royal ;)
The grounds around the castle were pretty cool too. Just a lot going on. We even go to see the changing of the guard. I feel disrespectful, but the guards' hats are so funny! I can't stand it! And the changing of the guard was different...there was a whole band that came out to play in the middle of it and they played the strangest songs! They played the James Bond theme music, a song from phantom of the opera, and Putting on the Ritz...odd?? Yes it was very strange, but still cool to see. I think I like the changing better in Arlington cemetery. Now that is pretty neat.
We also went into the main chapel-or cathedral building for the castle. And it was cool because all of the very important people are buried there. Like the queens parents and King Henry the VIII. We stood right on top of him. haha
Then we caught the train back home and now I finally just get some time to relax! whew! So much to see. Gotta love it.
