But we made it to Belfast, Ireland and it was just a short 1 hour flight. Then we got to our hotel and it is so nice! We have a kingsize bed and everything. Ireland is cold though! we did get a few nice moments and we didn't get a downpour of rain on us so we were all pretty happy about that.
First we went to this awesome little market. It was so much fun to see all of the local stuff. And we even got to taste some local food. Then we went on a city tour of Belfast. We rode around in a coach bus to see the sights. Just like perfect tourists ;)
The tour was great though. We got to see the peace wall. All of the graffiti was fantastic and it was awesome to see all the little note of peace and happiness. We also got to see where the Titanic was built and launched from. I didn't even know until we saw that, that the Titanic was built in Belfast. It was incredible to be right where it had been. And next year marks 100 years since the titanic. Pretty cool. There is the dry dock for where it had been stored to be finished being built and there is a new building right next to it that is built to be as tall as the titanic was. so seeing how deep it went and how high it went was just amazing! It was a huge ship! I had never realized the full scale of it before. And you wont be able to unless you are there. It was very interesting.
We got to see many more things around Belfast. What a neat place!
Then for dinner we went to an Irish pub. and we thought that there was going to be live music but there wasn't! so we were all very sad. But the food was still good and it was very fun to go :)
Irish quote of the day- "we"- as in small. so funny!
