I need a kilt

Well! So what an awesome day! You will not even guess where I took the train off to this time.
well I guess I will tell you anyways. I went to Scotland! It was fantastic! I was just amazed that in just a train ride I could end up in Edinburgh. I went with 5 of my friends and we got a super cheap and way nice hotel room just a small block from the station and then on the next street over was the Royal Mile and that is the main shopping for all us crazy tourists. Then just up that road is the castle. It was gigantic and amazing! The shopping was so fun. I loved the kilts and the scarves that were everywhere you turned. And since it was cold I just HAD to buy my self cashmere gloves! What a sacrifice ;)
Then for dinner we walked everywhere to try and find an awesome local place to eat. We wanted some REAL scottish food! So we finally asked a local if he had a good place to recommend. He couldn't think of anything. He said, "Ya we scottish are not known for our culinary skills." haha and then he laughed. It was even better to listen to him talk! I absolutely love the scottish accent. But we finally just found a place back on main. It was called the whiski bar and restaurant and it was pretty good. Then we headed back to the hotel and just got to rest. It is so nice to have down time!
Awesome Scottish quote of the day- "No photography whilst trying on the kilts." I love the "whilst"!! instead of while. haha beautiful.
