Tiny Island

Today was a great slow day. We got up and went to church here in NY! It was a way nice ward too. With tons of visitors! The bishop even made all the visitors stand up in sacrament meeting....weird. But we had people come up and say hi-so it was swell.

We then came home and got changed and then headed down to Little Italy again! I just love that place :) We went to a little restaurant and had pasta for lunch. NOM NOM NOM! And we even got Eclairs to take home.

On our way home we decided to take the tram that is right by our apartment. The tram is one of those sky trams that runs on the cables. It ran parallel to the Queensboro Bridge over to Roosevelt Island. It is the tiniest Island! It is long, but not wide at all. And the weirdest thing is how the apartment buildings just run down the island. It was very beautiful and calm and so quiet! We got to sit on the waters edge and eat our eclairs. We reluctantly headed home to call it an early night.

Now we need to rest up for our big day tomorrow! Lindsay and I start our internships tomorrow in the big city! I am so incredibly nervous. Wish me luck!
