We spent yesterday finding our way around. We walked to our offices where we will be doing our summer internships. I know I will get lost. Multiple times. Bad news. We have to take the subway to Times Square and walk from there. I hope I can at least get there on the first day! We also got to go to Serendipitys. Amazing! Tiniest place-awesome design-so crowded. It has the most incredible frozen hot chocolate in the world. If you ever come to NY -your first stop is there.
This summer I am interning for Vicente Wolf. Well that's pretty neat! I am nervous to get started and I hope my brain doesn't let nerves take over and it remembers that I speak english and it understands what people are asking me to do. Bonus!
Today we visited the Guggenheim and it was fantastic! Then we walked all through central park and even got an ice cream and enjoyed the sun :) Then we crossed the entire park to see the LDS Temple. The prettiest building in the middle of all the sky scrapers. For dinner we walked down to Carnegie Deli and got the biggest pastrami sandwich your eyes -and definitely your mouth- will try to overcome. Delicious! Then we walked around Times Square and got to see the sites. So many great stores.
Spending the next 6 weeks here will be CRAZY! Lets see how it goes!
